February haiku

連夜雨や布団の中の暖かさ
_{renya u ya futon no naka no atatakasa}
raining through the night,
how warm and comfy is my bed!

暑き日の猫の枕や脱いだ靴
_{atuki hi no neko no makura ya nuida kutu}
cat's pillow on a freaking hot day:
my shoes.

灰色の朝の寒さや猫を抱く
_{hai iro no asa no samusa ya neko wo daku}
the chill of a grey morning
embraces a cat.

虹色の泡が現わすモニターかな
_{niji iro no awa ga arawasu monitaa kana}
rainbow-colored bubbles emerge
from my monitor.

若草をさわる老樹の触手かな
_{wakakusa wo sawaru rouju no shokushu kana}
fondling the tender grass,
tentacles of the ancient tree.

人黙る電車中アド叫びけり
_{hito damaru densha chuu ado sakebi keri}
speechless people on the train,
only the ads scream.

街灯を逃れる影と闇夜かな
_{kaitou wo nogareru kage to yamiyo kana}
shunning the streetlamp-
my shadows and the deep night.
