chipping in to add to the noise of haikuthon summer 2009.
take me as a cameo, i don't think i can churn out one verse everyday. i'll update when able.

the weather in singapore has changed from an unbearable heat spell to an autumn-lookalike of rain/shine/gloom kind of kimagure (i.e. capricious).

we'll see what i get out of this month of july.

day 2: for my new friend Akie ( 映枝 ). we were drinking ice wine together under a tree in the moonlight.
day 3: great singapore sales (abbreviated as GSS) in july every year. yasuuri can be considered as a singaporean kigo.
day 6: they actually cut down my banyan tree. i had tears in my eyes...
day 9-12: i was busy as an ant and only managed to do one today to reflect my current life pattern. the craze isn't over yet. :faint:
day 15: the sketched girl.
day 27: haiga

end of july comes, sorry about the incomplete set.

I can "hear" what you mean, great image. I'm looking forward to the rest. (Make some noise. :giggle: )
Here, in Hungary, it changed back from autumny-rainy-sunshiny to unbearable heat. :D

Alucard: I had one man tell me he was a writer.
Integra: And what did you do?
A: I killed him quickly.
I: I'm sure the art community thanked you.
A: I like to consider myself a scathing critic. Non of my subjects survive my reviews.

:D

I'm digging the image "threads of rain", it describes the trickles perfectly. How does the flute solo fit in, or is literally someone playing while watching the rain?

Mow da zeebas down like sheep.
Give dem to me nice and dead.
Me no happy ‘til me fed.”

シンガポールを感じます。行ったことはないですけど。素直でとても良い。笛の音と簡単にしても一人で吹いていることにはなりますよ。
:iconsedahliah:
The imagery is awe-inspiring, well done.

Of all of the things I need to say, all of these words are in my way.

yes, i heard the flute solo while walking home in the rain two nights ago.
it could be a recording. meh, that makes it unromantic but it's still accurately a solo performance.

Ha ha, no need to actually note that it's recorded, that just sound muddly.

Drops of notes. Lovely.

No need to thank me for "Faves" or Watches; however, if you feel the need, please do so in my Shoutbox.

Thank you.
:iconaqua-rat:
Flute notes like rain - I love the comparison. It also sounds like an uplifting experience.

THIS IS THE GATE OF HEAVEN. ENTER YE ALL BY THIS DOOR. (This door is kept locked because of the draught - please use side door.)
:iconchugglepuff:
I love "threads of rain" - I don't think I've heard rain described like that before, but, now that you've said it, it seems the most obvious image in the world. And I can definitely imagine flute notes as rain.
