There is nothing as beautiful as trees in this world. You managed to really capture the way trees are in the summer with this piece:)

That is both beautiful and sad. I'll also admit to loving the light when it shines through leaves.

:) This was incredibly sweet. I love the image of light through the leaves, and the last line was so sad. :+favlove:

I can't say much beyond what everyone else already has -- I agree!

I like this one particularly... beautiful image... nostalgic with a touch of sadness.

The light when it is broken up by trees or clouds is at it's most beautiful. The rays of light stand out and just make you want to smile and feel happy.

This is a really good haiku.

Ah, the romanticism of autumn.
I wish preview images could be longer than 300px wide T_T But your mastery of the brush is superb. I am truly jealous that you can craft words and images equally well.

thank you John. i know you have a weak spot for light rays through leaves kind of thing. ^^

i love those moments too, and probably would be writing another for those fragmented shadows...

You're right, of course - both in poetry and visual art. :)

I love the ink work...is this what you call sumi-e? It's a great picture.
The thought of laying under a tree and feeling the specks of light beam through is relaxing

yea, 'sumi' means black ink in japanese.
trees are my favorite in all nature's goodies. the shade, the leaves, tree trunk, roots, in some seasons they even offer fragrance. thank the trees for i won't have enough to write for haikuwrimo!
