爪先で踏む暁のおじぎそう
tsumesaki de fumu akatsuki no ojigisou
treading on tip-toe,
mimosa at daybreak
トトロの花の旅、その五
totoro no hana no tabi sono go
A Tour with Flowers and Totoro, part 5


mimosa is also called 'touch-me-not'. the fragile leaves close and droop at slightest provocation.
only the fat totoro can tread on it without disturbing its peace. :)
this haiku was written while having lunch with qishin `Iscariot-Priest. it's fun to write haiku together. :D

オジギソウの漢字を使えばいっそうこの草の震える様子を表現できるではありませんか。
中国語でも含羞草って呼ばれますから。
